Job Summary

As a Rehabilitation Counsellor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting clients' return to work and life after injury as part of an allied health team.

  • Provide initial assessments, psychometric testing, and brief interventions for job seekers with psychosocial and mental health barriers to employment.
  • Perform new employment vocational assessments, transferable skills analysis, and recovery support.
  • Conduct initial assessments with injured workers and case management for return to same employment.
  • Assess and report on psychological functional capacities and complete psychological functional assessments.
  • Assess the effects of mental health and medical conditions on ability to work and make recommendations.
  • Write detailed case notes and reports.
  • Work with veterans to support their psychosocial, medical, and return-to-work goals.
  • Provide Adjustment to Injury counselling and Vocational Counselling in-person and via phone to support clients' rehabilitation.
  • Support adult clients from varying socioeconomic, educational, psychosocial, and nationality backgrounds.
