Rehabilitation Counsellor Role

This is an opportunity to be part of a dedicated allied health team supporting clients' return to work and life after injury as part of our two-year Graduate Program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial assessments with injured workers and case management for return to same employment
  • Assess psychological functional capacities and complete psychological functional assessments
  • Provide Adjustment to Injury counselling and Vocational Counselling in-person and via phone to support clients' rehabilitation
  • Work with adult clients from varying socioeconomic, educational, psychosocial, and nationality backgrounds
  • Collaborate with veterans to support their psychosocial, medical, and return-to-work goals

Requirements:

  • Graduate or postgraduate qualification in Counselling, Psychology or a related field
  • Registration or eligibility for registration with the relevant Australian Professional Association
