The opportunity:

We have a growing presence in Australia and New Zealand, with plans for year-on-year expansion. Our head office is based in Sydney CBD.

As a Category Manager, you will be responsible for your nominated category/categories.

  • You will track omni-channel category performance, execute programs per category strategies, monitor new trends, brands, merchandising programs, and ad-hoc strategies to optimize category growth and performance.
  • You will negotiate trading terms, coordinate brand agreement sign-offs, develop annual brand plans, ensure relevant assortments, and manage digital brand and category pages.
  • You will plan animations, secure key animation slots, negotiate check-out sampling, plan thematics, and drive sales through in-store mechanics/promotions.
  • You will launch and delist brands, monitor performance, conduct rationalization, execute launch plans, and liaise with departments/markets.
  • You will manage floorplans, store openings/renovations, and planograms, ensuring optimal assortments, developing logical planograms, meeting stockholding KPIs, and reviewing SOH.

We are looking for candidates with at least 8 years of experience in category management, trade negotiation, brand launches, and inventory management.
