About the Role

This position offers a chance to lead multidisciplinary development and infrastructure projects, driving transformation and improvement in Australian communities. As a key member of our team, you will engage in the end-to-end delivery of projects, from feasibility through to construction and handover.

  • Project Leadership: Manage project documentation, including scopes, schedules, budgets, risk registers, procurement plans, and tender submissions. Ensure integrated and timely project outcomes through coordination of multidisciplinary inputs.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, councils, government authorities, consultants, and contractors. Foster collaboration and resolve competing priorities diplomatically and professionally.
  • Financial Management: Oversee project financial performance, including forecasting, resource planning, reporting, and commercial risk. Drive business growth and profitability.
  • Business Development: Contribute to business development initiatives, proposal preparation, and strategic planning. Identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project teams, promoting initiative, autonomy, and sound judgment. Foster a culture of innovation and excellence.

Requirements

  • Leadership Expertise: 5+ years of experience in project management, engineering, construction, or property development. Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Technical Knowledge: Ability to interpret and communicate complex technical information effectively. Understanding of local development approval processes and infrastructure planning is desirable.
  • Financial Acumen: Understanding of project profitability, cost control, and contract administration. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and client presentations. Ability to adapt to diverse communication styles and needs.
  • Organisational Skills: Self-motivated with excellent organisational and time management skills. Ability to work in dynamic environments with competing deadlines.
  • Leadership Qualities: Strong leadership, mentoring, and team coordination skills. Ability to foster a culture of innovation and excellence.
