Job Title: Senior Operations Director

Job Summary:
The Senior Operations Director is responsible for leading the provision of high-level advice and support to the Chief Development Officer on a broad range of issues and projects, including programs of significant scale and state importance. This role undertakes executive-level project work and is pivotal in prioritizing and progressing urgent matters on behalf of the Chief Development Officer.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as an authoritative source of high-quality, innovative, and strategic advice to the Chief Development Officer and senior executives across the department to strongly influence policy and strategic direction.
- Exercise initiative and independence on dealing with priority issues, with freedom to make critical decisions on priorities and goals, to ensure the Housing Development branch is responsive to emerging issues.
- Provide timely briefing to the Chief Development Officer across all issues and deliverables for the branch.

Requirements:
- Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or hold a valid work permit or visa.
- Significant government business acumen and ability to work in a fast-paced and varied role.
