Nar and Asset Administrator

Our council is seeking a skilled NAR and Property Officer to work as part of our team in the north east. This is a 38-hour-per-week role where you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and efficient property data bases and name & address registers.
The ideal candidate will possess previous experience in a rate office or similar computerised office environment, with competent word processing and typing skills. You should also have the ability to think clearly and make accurate decisions regarding documentation, as well as attention to detail and strong communication skills.
As a key member of our team, you will assist with day-to-day functions and requirements of the Revenue Services Unit, ensuring organisational deadlines are met. You will also provide high-quality customer service to rate payers, user authorities, other Council Divisions, and management.
The successful candidate will be able to prioritise and effectively manage tasks and workload, working co-operatively and successfully as part of a team. You should also be committed to delivering exceptional customer service and have the ability to work independently without daily referral to supervisor.
