**About the Role**

We are seeking an experienced Project Governance Specialist to join our team at Seven Consulting, a private and independent Australian project and program management consultancy.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality PMO services and driving improvements in governance and controls for complex IT-enabled business transformation projects.

As a Project Governance Specialist, you will work closely with clients to establish and operate effective project, program, and portfolio PMOs, refining existing practices and establishing best-in-class frameworks.

You will also be responsible for leading/coaching/mentoring PMO team members, liaising with sponsors, steering committee members, and stakeholders at all levels of the client's organisation.

About You

  • A self-starter with a minimum 7 years' experience in implementing improvements in the value delivered by the PMO.
  • A track record of successfully delivering PMO services for technology projects & programs.
  • Proven abilities in the establishment and management of governance and controls for traditional and agile-run projects/programs/portfolios.
  • Experience leading teams and solid stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent references from previous employers and client sponsors.
