Culinary Expert Sought for Aged Care Role in South Australia

The Opportunity

We are seeking experienced Culinary Experts to lead the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals aligned with our menu and dietary standards.

You will oversee kitchen operations, stock control, and compliance with our Food Safety Program, while fostering a positive team culture and enhancing the dining experience of residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a rotating menu aligned with our guidelines, catering to all dietary needs
  • Ensure consistent quality, portion control, and plate presentation across all kitchen output
  • Manage stock levels, place orders, and process invoices promptly
  • Maintain compliance with food safety regulations, including audits and documentation

Requirements

  • Experience in Aged Care (desired) - Two years of full-time experience within Aged Care is desired or broader catering experience from commercial kitchens in high volume is preferred
  • Qualification in Commercial Cookery and/or experience working as a Chef in Aged Care would be advantageous but not necessary
