Culinary Expert Wanted

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Culinary Expert to join our Catering Department. As a Culinary Expert, you will be responsible for preparing meals and food for patients according to recipe guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene levels of food preparation areas and kitchen equipment
  • Prepare meals and food for patients according to recipe guidelines
  • Maintain food stock levels
  • Monitor daily temperatures of refrigerators and freezers according to food safety standards
  • Implement Food Safety Programs
  • Liaise with management and facility staff
  • Lead, supervise, coach, and develop team members to deliver exceptional service

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Commercial Cooking
  • Good working knowledge and understanding of HACCP regulations
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate required
  • Availability for shifts over a 7-day roster including weekend work
  • Experience in hospital or hotel food service environments preferred
