Delivering Exceptional Virtual Healthcare

We're seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide health-related advice over the phone, supporting Australians with their healthcare needs.

  • Assess symptoms and provide guidance on whether callers should see a doctor or manage their condition at home.
  • Conduct comprehensive telephone assessments and recommend the appropriate time and place of care.
  • Refer callers to other services such as the GP Helpline, Urgent Care Clinics, and Virtual Emergency Departments.

About You
  • A highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse, driven by a passion for delivering exceptional virtual care.
  • A desire to make a difference by providing early, appropriate support to Australians with their healthcare needs and reducing avoidable strain on emergency services.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse for a minimum of 3 years.
  • At least 3 years of full-time (or equivalent) clinical experience within the last 5 years as a Registered Nurse.
  • A varied nursing background involving substantial public contact.
  • Confidence in applying critical thinking and clinical judgment in high-pressure situations across all age groups and clinical presentations.
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal.
  • A high affinity with using computer systems, including telehealth platforms, databases, and digital communication tools.
  • Must be located within Australia.

Benefits and Details

  • Part-time or full-time: Minimum 20 hours per week.
  • Flexible shifts: Shift length ranging from 2 to 10 hours.
  • Operational hours: between 5 PM – 5 AM, Monday to Saturday.
