This role is focused on delivering technically excellent fire safety outcomes tailored to our clients' needs. As a Fire Engineering Project Lead, you will lead the fire engineering input on complex projects, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated and integrated designs.

The Opportunity

  • Lead all types of fire engineering projects, providing detailed technical input across a broad range of projects within the fire engineering business and related areas.
  • Prepare, oversee, and review project reports for clients summarizing key issues and strategically advising on best outcomes under supervision.
  • You will represent Arup at internal and external meetings, including leading approvals negotiations, and be a competent communicator.
  • Liaise with other disciplines within the region, providing particular expertise on fire engineering as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Recognized relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, specializing in Fire Engineering or a similar area.
  • Be fully aware of all legislative requirements and other regulations governing Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Membership of relevant professional institutions/professional peer bodies or significant credit towards eligibility for membership.
  • Chartered and Registered with relevant engineering authority body.
  • Relevant industry experience in Fire Engineering within a consulting business environment.
  • Prior experience in laboratories, data centers, infrastructure, warehouses, etc.
