Job Overview

The role of Senior HR Leader involves overseeing the development and execution of best-in-class people strategies to drive performance and success in our Australian Pacific business.

This senior position will require you to lead a divisional approach to implementing people strategy, ensuring the team enables the success of QBE's workforce and inspires a large team to deliver effectively and consistently.

You will develop and support the implementation of QBE's Global and AUSPAC People priorities, including an annual program of work to continuously improve services provided by the Talent & Partnering Team.

A key accountability of this role includes developing and leading a service model that provides high-quality, consistent advice to leaders and employees, while also fostering an accountability-driven culture through performance management and guidance.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement people strategies to drive performance and success in our Australian Pacific business.
  • Lead a divisional approach to implementing people strategy, ensuring the team enables the success of QBE's workforce.
  • Develop and support the implementation of QBE's Global and AUSPAC People priorities.
  • Develop and lead a service model that provides high-quality, consistent advice to leaders and employees.
Requirements
  • Deep HR generalist skillset.
  • Sound business knowledge and commercial understanding.
  • Experience in successful implementation of HR strategies and initiatives across large-scale organisations.
  • Advanced knowledge of trends, best practice and future direction in HR.
  • Ability to present to, influence and engage a variety of stakeholders.
