Meaningful Impact in Vulnerable Populations
We are seeking an experienced Senior Clinical/Forensic Psychologist to join our team in Logan, Queensland. This role offers a chance to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals.
As a Senior Clinical/Forensic Psychologist, you will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team providing comprehensive support to individuals with complex mental health, social, and legal needs. Your key responsibilities will include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and advocating for participants involved in our unique program.
Some of your key duties will include:
- Providing culturally responsive psychological and psychosocial assessments, diagnoses, interventions, and consultations to meet the needs of individuals experiencing significant mental health conditions, complex trauma, and visa insecurity.
- Conducting risk assessments, including evaluations of suicide and violence risks, and developing evidence-based safety plans.
- Creating and providing follow-up support, referrals, and treatment, including conducting alcohol and drug assessments, neuropsychological assessments, and mental health evaluations.
- Providing alcohol and drug assessment, neuropsychological assessment, and mental health reports as required.
Requirements:
- Masters qualification
- Police check done by the company
- WWCC
- AHPRA registration
- DL and passport or birth cert required as points of ID
