
Expert Voice Therapist Required

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Speech Pathologist to join our team in the Rehabilitation Outpatients department at Liverpool Hospital.
About The OpportunityThis is a great opportunity to work with a supportive team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality speech pathology services to patients with acquired communication impairment and/or oropharyngeal dysphagia.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and oversee speech pathology services for the outpatient rehabilitation caseload.
- Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and support to team members.
- Apply clinical expertise in management of acquired communication impairment and/or oropharyngeal dysphagia, including cases requiring instrumental assessment.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, service development, and administrative responsibilities.
- Must hold a bachelor or postgraduate degree in speech pathology accredited for eligibility for Speech Pathology Australia membership.
- Advanced clinical knowledge and postgraduate experience in comprehensive assessment, collaborative goal setting, and delivery of evidence-based rehabilitation for patients with acquired communication impairments.
- Advanced clinical knowledge and postgraduate experience in assessment and management of oropharyngeal dysphagia, including use of instrumental assessment.
- Knowledge and experience with patients and families from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
- Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based practice (EBP) and experience implementing EBP into service planning and evaluation.
- Australian C-Class driver's license.
