Clinical Expert Senior Occupational Therapist

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior occupational therapist to join a dynamic healthcare team.
The role involves providing evidence-based solutions to support patients' journeys through a busy hospital environment.
As a senior clinician, you will work closely with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team to achieve patient goals.
You will use strong organisational and communication skills to manage your day and provide up-to-date information about patients to various stakeholders.
About You- Strong clinical expertise in occupational therapy services within medical and/or surgical caseloads, including amputee patients in acute/subacute settings
- Extensive experience in complex discharge planning (including NDIS and ENABLE)
- Experience in clinical supervision, mentoring of staff and/or students
- Demonstrated self-directed learning & interest in research and quality activities
Your day will involve working with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team to achieve patient goals.
You will use your expertise to develop and implement effective treatment plans that cater to individual patients' needs.
By doing so, you will contribute to improving patient outcomes and enhancing the overall quality of care provided by the healthcare team.
