IT Governance and Compliance Lead

This role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence in IT governance and compliance, adhering to regulatory and organisational requirements.

The position involves managing IT audits, compliance, and control assurance across all IT services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement IT governance and compliance processes across IT services
  • Perform design and operating effectiveness testing for defined IT controls
  • Conduct control assurance to identify gaps and recommend solutions
  • Contribute to the development, review, and operationalization of IT processes
  • Document control evaluation processes, including methodology, testing results, and identified deficiencies
  • Communicate issues and control gaps to stakeholders
  • Compile detailed reports on internal control effectiveness
  • Highlight critical issues and their potential impact

Requirements:

  • At least three years of experience in an IT risk and compliance role
  • Detailed understanding of governance and risk management principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools like SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to demonstrate a positive attitude and excellent team player qualities
  • Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of information security controls and ISMS standards
