We are seeking experienced Senior Lawyers to support our client, a Commonwealth Government organisation, in statutory interpretation and government compliance. The successful candidates will be responsible for advising the Executive team and managers across the business on regulatory compliance obligations.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of post-admission experience, currently at a senior associate level or higher with a valid practising certificate. They will also possess strong contract drafting and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to provide pragmatic guidance framed appropriately for implementation.

Key responsibilities include interpreting legislation, working with the risk and compliance team, engaging with stakeholders in other areas of government, reviewing and drafting commercial contracts, and supervising junior lawyers.
