A Dedicated Social Worker is required to promote the welfare and safeguarding of children, young people, and their families.
About the Role- Promote the welfare and safeguarding of children, young people, and their families.
- Carry out timely assessments in line with relevant guidelines.
- Ensure assessments and planning actively involve relevant agencies, the child/young person, and their family.
- Engage in direct, child-centred work with children and young people.
- Promote the welfare and safeguarding of children, young people, and their families.
- Manage a complex and varied caseload.
- Develop care plans that consider the views and wishes of children and young people.
- Practice within professional capabilities and knowledge and skills statements.
- Support Newly Qualified Social Workers through the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment.
- Maintain high-standard case records and produce reports according to service policies and national guidelines.
This is a permanent role based in the City of Greater Bendigo. It requires full-time commitment.
