Child Protection Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Child Protection Specialist to join our team. As a key member, you will work closely with vulnerable children and families to provide support and guidance.

About the Role:
  • You will be responsible for assessing and responding to child protection referrals, ensuring timely interventions to safeguard the well-being of children.
  • Developing effective care plans that address the unique needs of each family, promoting stability and growth.
  • Collaborating with multi-agency teams to coordinate services, sharing expertise and best practices to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Providing emotional support and guidance to children and their families, fostering resilience and self-confidence.
Your Qualifications and Skills:
  • DIPSW or equivalent qualification in Social Work is essential, as is registration with Social Work England.
  • An Enhanced DBS certificate is mandatory, demonstrating your commitment to safeguarding vulnerable individuals.
  • Exceptional communication and decision-making skills are crucial, enabling you to build strong relationships with stakeholders and drive positive change.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, you will thrive in a dynamic environment where adaptability and creativity are valued.
