Job Title: Senior Social Worker - Child Protection Team

The role involves ensuring the needs of children, young people, and their families are identified, safeguarded, and monitored according to relevant legislation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote the welfare and safeguarding of children, young people, and their families by conducting timely assessments in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Engage relevant agencies, children, and families in assessments and planning to develop high-quality casework.
  • Manage complex and varied caseloads, ensuring high-standard case records and producing required reports.
  • Mentor less experienced Social Workers and co-work cases to promote professional development.
  • Develop care plans reflecting the views and wishes of children and young people through collaborative working.
  • Implement evidence-based practice to maintain high standards in child protection.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Social Work, be registered with the relevant authority, and have post-qualification experience.
