Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Trainee Airport Facilities Officer. This role will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to gain valuable work experience and develop their skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

The Trainee Airport Facilities Officer will be responsible for providing high quality customer service to customers utilizing the services of the Ballina Byron Gateway Airport. This will include directing and assisting passengers and visitors within the airport terminal, kerbside and carpark, as well as undertaking cleaning duties to ensure a high level of cleanliness standard in the airport terminal, administration and carpark.

As a Trainee Airport Facilities Officer, you will have the opportunity to study a Certificate III in Business, which is estimated to take up to 13 months to complete. During this time, you will be supported by our experienced training team who will provide guidance and mentorship to help you achieve your goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to customers at the Ballina Byron Gateway Airport
  • Assist passengers and visitors within the airport terminal, kerbside and carpark
  • Undertake cleaning duties to maintain a high level of cleanliness standard in the airport terminal, administration and carpark
