Job Opportunity

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in operationalising our Risk Management Framework and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing proactive risk and compliance support and advice across strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Overseeing the implementation and ongoing embedment of our Risk Management Framework, ensuring consistent application and compliance with regulatory obligations.
  • Delivering timely and high-quality risk and regulatory advice and related training to legislative requirements impacting projects and business operations.
  • Partnering with business units on projects and initiatives to provide risk and compliance guidance and oversight.
  • Preparing and presenting risk and compliance reporting for executives, regulated entity Boards, and regulators.
  • Working closely with the first line risk and remediation function overseeing operational risks and CPS230 requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of risk and compliance best practice, including relevant regulations and industry standards within Insurance and/or Finance sector. They should also possess confident communication and stakeholder management skills.

Additionally, they should hold a degree in commerce or finance, or similar, including professional certifications highly regarded.

A strong understanding of risk management principles and practices is essential for this mid-senior level position.
