Key Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day accounting processes, ensuring timely completion of month-end closes for both U.S. and Canadian operations
  • Maintain adherence to GAAP, internal controls, and corporate policies
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to inform strategic decision-making
  • Support audits, SEC reporting, and tax compliance activities by providing expert knowledge and guidance
  • Manage and mentor a team of 3–4 accounting professionals, fostering their growth and development within the organization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize systems and processes, driving business efficiency and effectiveness

The ideal candidate will possess 8–10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, and a CPA certification (an MBA is a plus). Additionally, they should have strong knowledge of GAAP, exposure to revenue, lease, and equity accounting, and experience working with enterprise financial systems (Workday preferred). Strong analytical and communication skills, as well as a leadership mindset with a solutions-driven approach, are essential for success in this role.
