Accounting Leadership Position

We seek a seasoned finance expert to oversee our accounting and reporting functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, experience in managing accounts and ledgers, and proficiency in financial management software.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with GAAP standards, maintaining internal control safeguards, and collaborating with the CFO to establish financial benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems.
  • Maintain internal control safeguards over company assets and operating environment.
  • Work with the CFO to establish and monitor financial and operating benchmarks.
  • Lead the accounting team with dynamic 'hands-on' leadership that fosters trust, teamwork, productivity, and consistency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting – Advanced degree preferred.
  • Professional accounting certification – CPA or CMA.
  • 5 years' experience managing as a senior-level accounting leader (previous Controller experience preferred).
  • Advanced competency in financial management and accounting software.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting requirements.
