The Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll work closely with our Talent Acquisition Manager to develop and implement a talent acquisition strategy that drives business results. Your focus will be on sourcing exceptional allied health talent, developing talent communities, and managing talent pools to meet our workforce needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our Talent Acquisition Manager to enhance and improve our attraction strategy, ensuring we attract top talent in the allied health sector.
  • Partner with management to gain a deep understanding of our business and organization, including strategic workforce plans, to provide recruitment advice and support that meets business goals.
  • Apply effective talent acquisition practices to areas of the business, such as branding, candidate attraction methods, and screening methodologies.
  • Develop and manage talent communities to reduce external advertising requirements and fast-track efficient recruitment processes.
  • Review internal sourcing strategies for difficult-to-fill roles and work closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager on succession planning activities.
  • Regularly communicate with talent in the pipeline and build relationships with key stakeholders in the business.
  • Effectively communicate job details and value propositions to interested allied health professionals.
  • Set clear priorities and focus on completing tasks in a timely manner.
  • Post job advertisements on job boards, including Seek, Indeed, LinkedIn, and University Career Hubs.
  • Prepare weekly activity reports on statistics from our job boards and LinkedIn.
  • Coordinate interviews and referenced checks with key stakeholders.
  • Responsible for onboarding administration through Employment Hero (Software).

Ideal Profile

  • Significant talent attraction and recruitment experience.
  • Strong and proven stakeholder management skills at all levels.
  • Proven experience in navigating multiple HR systems and managing talent pools.
  • Previous success in implementing recruitment campaigns.
  • Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Attention to detail, a data-driven approach, and an analytical mindset.
  • An excellent work ethic, a desire for continued learning, and a drive to deliver best outcomes.
