Job Title: Occupational Health and Safety Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled occupational health and safety lead to spearhead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of health, safety, and environmental strategies across construction projects.

This is a critical role that requires strong leadership skills, technical health and safety expertise, and the ability to lead and mentor HSE professionals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering training, conducting audits and investigations, and maintaining a safe and sustainable work environment.

  • Lead the development and implementation of risk management plans, ensuring controls are implemented and monitored across multiple construction sites.
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and environmental breaches, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Collaborate with project teams to promote a culture of safety, mitigate risks, and drive safe work practices.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in health and safety within civil construction.
  • Senior leadership experience and ability to lead and mentor HSE professionals.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Workplace Health & Safety or equivalent.
  • Proven ability to lead HSE initiatives across multiple construction sites.
