Roster: 8 days on, 6 days off, 12-hour shifts, days only.

About the role
Reporting to the Senior Advisor - Safety, Health and Emergency Response, you will support health and safety across open-cut and underground mining and ore processing operations. This role is key to promoting a proactive safety culture, ensuring compliance with legislation, and driving continuous improvement.
You'll provide practical support, deliver training, and influence safe behaviours across the site. Strong communication, attention to detail, and a hands-on approach are essential.
- Facilitate risk assessments, incident investigations (including ICAMs), and internal audits
- Build key relationships across departments and mentor supervisors and workers in the field
- Deliver effective safety training and support return-to-work processes
- Ensure accurate reporting and analysis of safety performance data
About you
You'll be part of a supportive and inclusive team where your contributions are recognised and rewarded with a proven career path. To succeed in this role, you'll bring a strong background in health and safety, along with practical experience in high-risk environments, ideally in an underground setting.
- Diploma or higher in WHS, with at least 5 years' experience in mining. High-risk work licenses will be highly regarded
- Skilled in risk management, audits, ICAM investigations, and return-to-work coordination
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, INX, and developing WHS documentation and procedures
