Clinical Nurse Specialist in Community Mental Health

This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals impacted by Huntington's Disease.

The Role:
  • Deliver specialised case management and clinical support to individuals and families affected by Huntington's Disease.
  • Coordinate care across community, inpatient, and outpatient settings.
  • Provide education and therapeutic interventions.

You will need:

  • A strong understanding of nursing principles, procedures, and practices in mental health services and/or Huntington's Disease Services.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in mental health nursing, including assertive case management, triage, holistic physical and mental health assessment, clinical risk management, and crisis intervention within the community setting.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to provide emotional support and guidance to individuals and their families.
