We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Consultant to fill the role of Regional Complex Care Coordinator for Children and Young People with Mental Health Needs. This position will be based in either Launceston or Devonport/Burnie and involves working with children and young people who require specialist clinical coordination services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-level assessments and develop individual plans that bring together the right mix of services across government and non-government agencies.
  • Promote positive working relationships by developing effective partnerships with stakeholders, including community service providers.
  • Work collaboratively with a diverse multidisciplinary team, providing support and consultation as required.

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior nurse with experience in complex case management, assessment, counselling, and/or therapy. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mental health issues affecting children and young people and be able to provide expert advice and guidance to ensure the best possible outcomes for this vulnerable group.

Requirements:
  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
  • Specialist tertiary graduate or postgraduate mental health/psychiatric nursing qualification.
