Seeking an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join the finance team at Benneaux in a newly created role.

Job Description

The primary objectives of this position are to take a leading role in financial accounting, statutory accounting, and taxation areas for the organisation and strengthen the balance sheet through working capital management.

You will also assist and support financial & tax compliance activities and ensure that the company complies with changes to accounting regulations, standards, and legislation. Involvement in financial projects within the finance team and more broadly across the business will occur.

This position requires problem-solving skills utilising technical skill in accounting, computer user skills, analytical and assessment skills, financial reporting, interpretative, evaluative, and constructive thinking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the financial accounting, statutory accounting, and taxation areas for the organisation.
  • Strengthen the balance sheet through working capital management.
  • Assist and support financial & tax compliance activities.
  • Involvement in financial projects within the finance team and more broadly across the business.
Requirements
  • CA/CPA qualified.
  • Strong technical experience gained within either the profession and/or a medium to large corporate desirable.
  • Knowledgeable in IFRS.
  • Problem-solving skills utilising technical skill in accounting, computer user skills, analytical and assessment skills, financial reporting, interpretative, evaluative, and constructive thinking.
