Job Title: Chief Financial Officer

TWH Advisory is proud to be partnering with a leading Northern Australian agriculture client to bring this newly created CFO role to market.

About the Role

The Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for overseeing the commercial operations and financial reporting requirements of the asset, ensuring the organisation is adequately prepared for the scale required to achieve their strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing informed commercial and strategic insights to the Board
  • Managing a broad range of stakeholders, including the Board, government, and industry stakeholders
  • Executing financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Ensuring the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethics
  • Developing and building rapport with people
Requirements

To be successful in securing this role, the CFO will have:

  • A Commerce/Accounting degree and be CAANZ/CPA qualified
  • 10+ years' experience in finance leadership roles, including accountability to Boards
  • Commercial and strategic leadership experience within large-scale agricultural asset management
  • Expertise in capital management, financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Strong understanding of risk management and internal controls
  • Knowledge of manufacturing inventory systems
