About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Conflux Technology Pty. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for the development, preparation, and delivery of internal and external projects.

As a Project Manager, you will work closely with various stakeholders, including engineering leadership, design and calculations engineers, production, quality, customers, and the business development team. Your primary responsibilities will include reviewing and understanding client specifications and project requirements, creating and modifying technical documentation, and preparing engineering and financial estimates in conjunction with the technical sales team.

You will also be responsible for managing all technical and planning aspects of projects, utilizing project management tools to track progress and budget, and performing other duties as necessary.

This is a full-time 6-month contract with attractive remuneration commensurate with your qualifications, skills, and experience. Some work outside of standard hours may be required due to the nature of additive manufacturing.

Responsibilities and Tasks:
  • Reviewing and understanding commercial and technical proposals during the sale cycle, assisting with the creation of Statements of Work.
  • Creating, reviewing, and modifying technical documentation as required throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Managing all aspects of projects through all departments to ensure successful delivery.
  • Utilizing project management tools to track project progress and budget.
  • Performing other duties relevant to the position as necessary.
About You

You will be an experienced Project Manager with a strong client focus, able to hit the ground running in an advanced manufacturing environment. You will have excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, and be able to engage with clients at all levels.

Conflux Technology Pty is seeking a motivated individual with a desire to grow and develop within the role. You will have strong interpersonal skills and be able to demonstrate an ability to contribute and collaborate within a high-performance team.

Personal Skills and Experience:
  • Degree qualified in Mechanical, Automation, Mechatronic, Electrical Engineering (or similar).
  • 3-5 years' experience within a project management/engineering position.
  • Demonstrated project management experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to understand and explain complex concepts to all levels.
  • Ability to build strong relationships across departments.
  • Conversational level of proficiency in Japanese will be highly regarded.
