About the Opportunity

APS6 Project Officer, 12-month contract with a strong possibility of renewal. This full-time position offers a flexible, hybrid work environment, ensuring a great work-life balance. While the role is based in Richmond or Geelong, some in-office time is required. Only Australian Citizens are eligible to apply.

About the Role

The Service Design Division works on process, platform, and practice solutions to address Agency priorities. The division embeds co-design and a stakeholder-view of change into our ways of working, ensuring that our designs represent the greatest value to different audiences. In line with the Participant Service Charter principles, the division drives transparency into Agency decision-making through the consistency of the processes, guidance and communication we design.

Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage project plans and schedules, providing specialist advice and technical expertise.Perform independent research and analysis, preparing draft reports, business cases, and corporate documentation.Monitor project budgets, manage procurement and contracts, and contribute to risk and quality management for project deliverables.Maintain and update the Branch confluence, intranet pages, and resource suite. Support the development and maintenance of artefacts, including setting up Confluence for the Branch.Coordinate and draft high-level internal and external communications, including reports, advice, presentations, and responses.
