About the Role:

The Account Manager/Sales Manager will oversee a portfolio of existing clients, monitor our service delivery, ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and actively seek new opportunities.

The emphasis is on relationship management, networking, and building trust within a specialised client base and representing Kongsberg Maritime.

The role also includes the responsibility of securing new customers within the region through proactive sales.

Key Objectives:

  • Generate profitable revenue
  • Operate as the lead point of contact for technical delivery and commercial matters specific to your clients
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Oversee existing clients accounts including strategic planning, forecasting and negotiating contracts to maximise profit
  • Increase market share for Kongsberg Maritime goods and services

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Familiarity with the maritime industry
  • Proven experience as an Account Manager, Sales Manager or in a customer-focused technical/commercial role
  • Strong ability to network, communicate and represent the company confidently with stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – approachable, sociable and able to build trust and long-term relationships
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts/projects at once

This is a hybrid role working 3 days per week in Fremantle office and balance WFH.
