Job Description

This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a talented and respected engineering team on large-scale maritime facilities across various industries. The role involves applying existing experience, gaining exposure to new projects, and receiving support from other disciplines.

You will leverage your coastal engineering expertise to deliver concept designs through to construction phase support. While this is primarily a technical role, there are opportunities for leadership and business development.

  • Experience in port, harbour, coastal works and marine structure design
  • Knowledge of coastal modelling software (DELFT-3D, SWAN, MIKE)
  • Experience working with local governments, port clients and/or Defence sector
  • Familiarity with Australian design codes and guidelines
  • Skills in providing guidance and mentoring to less experienced staff
  • Ability to project manage small maritime projects
  • Chartered Professional Engineer or ability to get chartership within agreed timeframe
  • Tertiary degree qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Eligibility for Australian Government security clearance
