Academic Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate academic to contribute to the teaching, assessment, and support of medical students.

  • Teach, assess, and provide academic support for medical students enrolled in the Joint Medical Program (JMP).
  • Play a key role in curriculum development and demonstrate excellence across Teaching and Learning, Research and Innovation, and Service and Engagement.

To be considered at Level B (Lecturer), you will need:

  • A doctoral qualification / PhD (or near completion) or equivalent accreditation and standing in Medicine.
  • Current registration as a medical practitioner with AHPRA with no restrictions, notations or conditions.
  • Proven experience in teaching, assessment, and/or curriculum development at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • Evidence of leadership through peer mentoring or clinical leadership roles.

To be considered at Level C (Senior Lecturer), you will also need:

  • Unconditional registration as a Specialist Medical Practitioner with AHPRA, with recent clinical experience.
  • Active Fellowship with a recognised Australian Specialty College.
  • Demonstrated leadership in learning and teaching, including course coordination, curriculum development, and mentoring at undergraduate, honours and postgraduate levels.
