Academic Opportunity

The position of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer - Teaching & Research is available for a mid-senior level academic professional with expertise in teaching and research.

This role will contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality teaching programs for undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as the implementation of the Undergraduate Medicine Program Redesign.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging and effective teaching programs for various student levels.
  • Conduct scholarly research and publish papers in the field of Critical Care medicine.
  • Provide educational leadership and support to colleagues through curriculum development and teaching excellence initiatives.
  • Maintain professional expertise through ongoing training and engagement with industry stakeholders.
Necessary Skills and Qualifications
  • A PhD or relevant work experience in a related discipline.
  • Medical registration in NSW and specialist training in Critical Care medicine.
  • Commitment to staying up-to-date with discipline knowledge and developments.
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching design and delivery using diverse pedagogical approaches.
