Strategic Software Asset Manager

This is a key position within the Information Management and Technology Division (IMTD) responsible for managing software assets and licensing. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong expertise in software asset management, research, analysis, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a Software Asset Management Framework to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
- Manage the Software Asset Register, providing timely and accurate reports on software assets.
- Optimize software licensing to achieve maximum value and reduce unauthorized software deployment.
Requirements:
- Strong background in software asset management, including high-level skills in research, analysis, and reporting.
- Excellent consultation and communication skills to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
- Conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills to develop and implement effective solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in planning, prioritizing, and organizing workloads to agreed timeframes.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline such as computer science, information technology, or business administration.
