Clyde & Co, an international law firm with a dedicated cyber incident response practice, has exciting opportunities for lawyers with 2 or more years post qualification experience to join its market leading team in Sydney.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage the lifecycle of a cyber incident, related investigations, and litigation, providing crisis and reputational management services to clients following a cyber incident or data breach.

Responsibilities

  1. Manage customer-facing breach response and crisis management for clients from start to finish.
  2. Coordinate initial response to cyber incidents, including client, internal team, and third-party vendors, in accordance with an organisation's incident response plan.
  3. Manage own case load and liaise directly with clients in relation to incidents.
  4. Assist with regulatory obligations, investigations, and notification requirements.
  5. Complete incident reports outlining the status of the incident, remediation activities, and post-incident reviews.
  6. Ensure incidents are fully communicated, recorded, and tracked in accordance with existing frameworks.
  7. Responsible for ensuring client experience is second to none.

Key Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will have strong academic credentials, excellent verbal and written communications skills, and interest in or demonstrated practical cyber and privacy experience.
