About the Role:

Fujitsu is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Expert to join our Security Operations Team based in our Cyber Resilience Centre (CRC). As part of this role, you will ensure that cyber security incidents are detected and resolved across all our clients environments. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct triage and analysis on alerts using security technologies to investigate and respond to threats.

You will also be responsible for proactively scanning environments as well as mentoring and guiding other team members. Additionally, you will profile and trend events in the environment to determine if an incident needs to be created after scanning/sweeping.

While working from documented playbooks, security analytics will be a large portion of your work. You will need to actively monitor and analyze CRC client systems and respond to cyber security incidents as per the documented process.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in incident analysis, security analytics, malware research or similar experience. They must be able to analyse and inspect log information, packets, and other security tool information output from a variety of sources.

In addition, the successful candidate will have exposure to network devices, Microsoft Windows systems, UNIX systems, and security products utilised in the specific environment. Familiarity with basic reverse engineering principles and understanding malware, rootkits, network protocols and enterprise security architecture is also essential.

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 AUD depending on experience, plus benefits such as flexible work arrangements, professional development opportunities and a comprehensive reward and recognition program.

Requirements:

  • AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance
  • Demonstrated experience working in a security operations centre (SOC) environment
  • Minimum 2 years experience in incident analysis, security analytics, malware research or similar experience
