We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chef to join our team at Eden Academy in Hamilton. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for designing, preparing, and delivering balanced and nutritious meals to our children.
About the Role
- Prepare and cook meals in a commercial kitchen setting
- Develop and implement menus that cater to diverse dietary requirements and food sensitivities
- Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and stock control
- Ensure high standards of food safety and hygiene
- Work collaboratively with our team to provide excellent customer service
Requirements
- Food Handling Certificate
- A current Working with Children check
- Understanding of diverse dietary requirements and food sensitivities
- Australian Working Rights
- Excellent personal presentation
- Experience in menu creation, bulk meal preparation, online ordering, stock management, and budget control
- Experience in commercial cooking
