The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a strategic growth region for Stantec, influencing and shaping national operations, and fostering a high-performing culture. They will work closely with the Regional Director, Business Centre Operations Leader, and other Business Leaders to achieve business objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing business plans and budgets
- Leading continuous improvement and effective management of projects and staff
- Winning work and achieving net revenue and backlog targets
- Collaborating with other Business Centres to cross-sell and win new work
- Providing leadership and direction to staff and ensuring clear communication of business objectives
- Identifying opportunities to reinforce and develop Stantec's high-performance culture
- Managing regional talent lifecycle, including recruitment, career development, and succession planning
- Driving quality and timely delivery of project deliverables
- Building client relationships and pursuing strategic project opportunities
- Driving a proactive safety culture and partnering with Health Safety Security Environment leadership
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Science, or comparable technical degree
- At least 15 years' relevant experience in a senior position
- Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to create a high-performing culture
- Strong commercial acumen and significant project delivery experience
- Ability to influence and negotiate through effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly developed client relations and stakeholder management skills
