Senior Portfolio Manager

This role will report directly to the Credit Risk leader - APAC. The role will be responsible for complete operational management of APAC portfolio, which includes account management and management reporting.

About This Role:

The Senior Portfolio Manager will be responsible for conducting monthly portfolio quality and watch list reviews with senior management. They will also discipline on portfolio management through business analytics, collaborate with senior leadership to establish, measure and track key performance indicators (KRIs) and implement wholesale new credit policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct monthly portfolio quality and watch list reviews with senior management.

  • Identify and deliver opportunities for portfolio optimization to drive simplification, error resolution to prevent inaccuracies, reduce process latency and drive process excellence.
  • Ensure accounts are being monitored and managed in accordance with proprietary portfolio control policies and procedures.
  • Oversee and drive the management of new client on-boarding, their Syndication and In-life cycle management in conjunction with cross functional divisions.
Technical Accounting Duties:
  • Present actuals and forecasted revenue data on a monthly basis along with graphical presentation of highs and lows during the year to the management for effective decision making.
  • Ensure accuracy and exactness of information contained in Account Information Management System (AIMS) by undertaking periodic checks for accounts.
  • Carry out variance analysis of accounts with customer's data and provide outstanding balance confirmation for statutory audit purposes.
  • Provide insights to relevant stakeholders on cost management components like late payment, flat bill and other interest charges.
  • Analyze and present trending of miscellaneous income and waivers (losses) on monthly basis to senior management.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Minimum Bachelor degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting or Business or other tertiary qualification.
  • Minimum 10+ years of proven professional experience and Minimum 7+ years of management experience in a related field.
