Senior Risk Manager Collections

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Risk Manager to join our collections team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize collections performance and loss recovery across our credit card and lending portfolios.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of credit risk management, collections analytics, and regulatory compliance. They will also possess excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize collections performance and loss recovery
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive innovation and process improvement
  • Manage third-party partnerships and vendors to ensure effective collections operations
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and audits to ensure alignment with strategic goals and regulatory expectations
  • Analyze delinquency data and performance trends to identify opportunities for strategy optimisations and operational efficiencies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a numeric discipline or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in credit risk management, with a strong focus on collections and recoveries
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful collections strategies in a financial services environment
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience in data-driven decision-making
  • Experience managing third-party vendors or outsourced service providers
  • Deep understanding of regulatory requirements related to collections and credit risk
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
