Role Overview

As a School Psychologist, you will be working in an educational environment to provide support and services that maximize student learning outcomes. This is a permanent part-time position with the opportunity to work closely with students, parents, and staff to promote a positive school culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with various stakeholders, including students, parents, and staff.
  • Provide direct student support and contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of whole-school wellbeing programs.
  • Support high-performing students with tailored strategies to manage academic pressure and maintain their wellbeing.
  • Be an active member of the case management team, contributing to planning and intervention strategies that support student wellbeing and engagement.
Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Hold or be eligible for provisional or general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
  • Have a strong understanding of psychological approaches appropriate for individual, group, and system-level intervention.
  • possess excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to produce correspondence, reports, and case notes.
  • be able to work effectively in a self-directed manner and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
