The successful candidate will be part of the Center of Excellence teams, comprising Database Administrators responsible for ensuring high availability, disaster recovery, backup and restore, and other operational tasks.

As a key member of our team, you will drive continuous improvement to increase operation efficiency, availability, and performance. You will also collaborate with Center of Excellence DBAs on incident management, problem management, high availability, disaster recovery, backup and restore, and related operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operation efficiency, availability, and performance.
  • Collaborate with Center of Excellence DBAs on incident management, problem management, high availability, disaster recovery, backup and restore, and related operational tasks.
  • Contribute to pilot projects for new technologies and act as a reference for customers.

Requirements
  • Strong conceptual understanding and knowledge of RDBMS products in the market.
  • 15+ years of experience as a Database Administrator in global operations (primarily SAP HANA and ASE; other databases are welcome).
  • Experience with automation tools, scripting, or related processes.
  • Technical expertise in optimizing and tuning systems; focus on performance optimization.
  • Database concepts on security, backups and recovery strategies, performance tuning, system copies, high availability, disaster recovery, export-import, and replication.

Cloud knowledge is desirable but not essential. Professional certification of database platforms and exposure to project management tasks (PMP and ITIL) are a plus.
