About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Workforce Australia For Individuals. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of the Tantangara Fish Screens and Weirs Project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the procurement, design, and construction phases of the project
  • Ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Manage and coordinate the work of project team members, including engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating any risks or issues that may arise

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in the construction or engineering industry
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as MS Project or Asana
