About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Construction Director to join our team at Webuild S.p.A. as a Project Operations Lead. This is a key leadership role that will play a critical part in the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Operations Management
    • Coordinate and manage project operations to ensure timely and within-budget delivery
    • Develop and implement project management plans, including risk management and quality control
    • Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate potential issues
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and manage a team of construction professionals to achieve project objectives
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge
    • Provide coaching and mentoring to team members to ensure career development
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management
    • Develop and maintain effective relationships with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers
    • Communicate project progress and issues to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner
    • Provide regular project updates to senior management and other stakeholders
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
    • Identify and mitigate potential risks to project delivery
    • Develop and implement risk management plans to minimize project risks
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as construction management, engineering, or business
  • Experience
    • Minimum 11 years of experience in construction management or a related field
    • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Skills and Competencies
    • Strong leadership and management skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Project
