A highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse is required to join a surgical services team in a private hospital in Melbourne.


About the Role

This position involves working with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering safe, compassionate, and effective care to patients with higher acuity needs;
  • Providing clinical leadership and support within the HDU;
  • Collaborating with teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes;
  • Supporting education, mentoring, and clinical supervision for junior staff.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • Current registration with AHPRA;
  • Postgraduate qualification in Critical Care or High Dependency Nursing (or working towards completion);
  • Proven clinical experience in a high-acuity or HDU/ICU setting-at least 2 years;
  • Strong communication, assessment, and clinical decision-making skills;
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team;
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
