**Governance Leadership Role**

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of professionals who provide strategic advice and governance services across MHNSW. As the Head of Governance, you will be responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary team who provide secretariat support for various boards and committees, manage government information access and procurement activities, and coordinate legal services.

The role requires a senior management experience with demonstrated stakeholder management skills. You will need to have superior written communication skills and the ability to work effectively across different sites and teams.

MHNSW brings together the museums, historic houses, and collections previously in the care of Sydney Living Museums with the vast collection of more than 13 million items held by the former NSW State Archives. This includes one of the world's most complete and important collections documenting colonization.

This role offers a full-time, ongoing employment with a remuneration package that includes salary and annual leave loading. The role will work across Sydney and has the opportunity for flexibility including some work from home.

For this role, you will need to demonstrate your ability to balance the provision of sound advice and meet business needs. You should also be able to describe a time when you implemented or evaluated controls across multiple business units.
